The best app for downloading YouTube videos for offline watching

For someone who normally lives on the road, as a digital nomad, I always like(d) to use my downtime while travelling in planes, trains and buses – I can just about remember what that was like in this COVID day and age ;) – to catch up on things I haven’t had time to enjoy otherwise, like TED Talks on YouTube or similar.

To that end I use the fabulous app 4K Downloader.

I’ve been using the free version for some years now. However, the free version has limitations, such as only allowing videos from YouTube.

Purchasing the full version – which is reasonably priced – removes them and you can batch download to your heart’s content.

If also allows you to download from other sites like Vevo, tumblr, flickr and Daily Motion.

It’s a most useful app and I highly recommend it.

To that end, I’ve created this handy infographic to help you use the app.
